*The 2023 National Latinx Writers Gathering* will be a two day event.

Day one is a *FREE VIRTUAL GATHERING* open to Latine writers across the
country. It will bring together experts and artists across writing genres
who are establishing practices that support Latine writing futures. All
events will be recorded and archived. Day one is inspired by the Black Arts
Funding Summit.

Day two is a *FREE IN-PERSON EVENT *open to New Mexico-based writers. On
day two, writers will gather and participate in a series of experiential
activities with the aim of fostering community.

>From here, we will launch an effort to make NLWG scaleable so that, over
the long term, we build a network of gatherings that can happen at the
local and regional levels. This enables us to bring more writers into
community in multiple places during the year.

We are seeking someone to provide technical support for day one of the NLWG
2023, including providing live support to attendees and speakers, creating
and recording zoom meetings, serving as host for the meeting and preparing
recordings for archiving. Must be available on 11/11/23 and for several,
preceding planning meetings. Compensation: $300. Can be virtual or
in-person.

We are seeking someone to provide access support for day one of the NLWG
2023, including providing assistance for attendees via zoom regarding
access needs. Participants should feel free to message the Access Doula in
the Zoom chat for non-technical assistance. Must be available on 11/11/23
and for several, preceding planning meetings. Compensation: $300. Can be
virtual or in-person.

We are seeking someone to provide in-person support for day two of the
NLWG, including day-of coordination, setting up way-finding information,
welcoming and directing participants, printing and collating materials, and
assisting with administrative needs during the gathering. Must be available
on 11/12/23 IN-PERSON and for several proceeding planning meetings.
Compensation: $500.
