[Corebotanyfaculty] Welcome Jaedyn Tapia as our New Travel Coordinator/Admin Asst

Good morning

I am pleased to announce that Jaedyn Tapia, was selected as the top candidate for our department Travel Coordinator/Admin Asst position.  She had previously been working in an interim role assisting in our receiving area, along with the travel and reimbursement claims.

Jaedyn began working with us last summer to assist with our receiving area, due to the tremendous workload our department was undergoing as we transitioned onto the new financial system.  In October when we were short staffed, she graciously stepped in to assist our department with completing our travel & reimbursement claims and has really grown in the position.  In taking time to meet with the staff, faculty, and students to go over their travel claims and assist them with working through the concur system, she has built great working relationships in the department.  She brings strong administrative support, exceptional customer service, and is very team oriented.  We are quite excited to have her join our team.

Due to our building renovations still on-going, we have located Jaedyn Tapia in Batchelor Hall room 2105.  Please feel free to drop by with any questions or concerns.
