[Corebotanyfaculty] Please vote to rank positions in hiring plan

Hi everyone,  at the faculty meeting today, we discussed the recommendation from the Academic Planning Committee that we hire in broad thematic areas, rather than narrow positions, which we have traditionally done.

If you haven’t already, please vote to rank the positions.  You can vote for your top 3, and if you think we should hire more than one in an area, you can rank that area more than once (that is you can rank the same position as 1, 2, and 3 or you can rank different positions for all three.  We will likely submit a request for 3 positions for 25-26.

We will discuss these today and rank the thematic areas to determine which positions to request for next year.  The position descriptions will need to be flushed out before submission.  They are due Friday.
