HI everyone,
We need to take a formal vote on appointment of Adam Jozwiak, the top candidate for the Metabolomics assistant professor position.   

Adam interviewed via zoom in the fall, and visited campus in early December, when he gave an in person seminar.  We’ve been in lengthy discussions with Adam to determine whether we can meet his needs to establish a successful program.  We are now ready to proceed with a formal offer, so at this time, we need to take a vote on his appointment.

Let’s have a brief faculty meeting on Monday at 2 pm to discuss and take the vote.  This will be the only agenda item, so we can hold the meeting over zoom.  I will send zoom link shortly.  I will also send a ballot so people who can’t attend the meeting can cast a vote.
