[Corebotanyfaculty] Change in Department Staff

Good morning,



It is with mixed emotions that we announce the departure of Summer Charles from the Botany & Plant Sciences Department.   She has accepted a Research Admin 3/Fund Manager in Pre-award position in the Department of Medicine at UC San Diego.  Her strong C&G skills and dedication to the department will be missed, but we wish her the very best on her new position.  Her last day in the department will be Thursday, June 9th.



Over the past years, Summer has been a valuable member of our team.  I would like to thank her for all her contributions to the Botany & Plant Sciences Department that were essential to our success.  We all have enjoyed working with Summer and appreciated her work commitment, mentoring and dedication throughout the years.



We are moving forward with a recruitment and hope to fill the position as quickly as possible.
