Based on an update received from FS Maintenance, the electrical power interruptions scheduled for March 20 and March 21 have been canceled. New dates will be communicated once confirmed by FS Maintenance.

Event 1: Sunday, March 20 at 7:00 am, lasting less than a few minutes
Event 2: Monday, March 21 at 7:00 am, lasting less than a few minutes
New dates will be communicated once confirmed by FS Maintenance.

SCOPE OF WORK

Mandatory maintenance work on 5000KVA transformer. These dates and times were selected to minimize impact to building occupants and were coordinated with an outside vendor.

IMPACT

The following buildings will experience two, momentary interruptions of power, lasting less than a few minutes each. The first event is to transfer power for temporary support. The second event, 24 hours later, is to return power to normal operations.

11.      Growth Trailer near Greenhouses 18-21

13.      Keen Hall

14.      Life Sciences including 1500

15.      Satellite Plant

16.      Spieth Hall

17.      SPI

18.      University Office Building


Occupants with sensitive research equipment should take the following precautions:

*         If you have sensitive research equipment or systems you know can be impacted by power interruption and you have not connected them to uninterrupted power devices (UPS) and surge protectors, please plan to disconnect and turn off equipment for the duration of the day to avoid any damage.
