Hi all,
I am forwarding the final Findings and Recommendations from the external program review of our undergraduate Plant Biology major.  The other documents from the review are also attached.

The UEAC has already begun discussing ways in which we can implement some of the recommendations.  I hope to schedule a long-overdue faculty retreat in spring, where we can discuss the review and many other things.

Re:         Final Findings and Recommendations Report for the Plant Biology Undergraduate Program Review

Enclosed you will find the Final Findings and Recommendations by the Committee on Educational Policy (CEP) resulting from the Review of the Plant Biology undergraduate program at UCR.  Please distribute these Final Findings and Recommendations to the members of your program as the basis of your planning for the action implementation phase of the program review process.

Committee Analyst Beth Beatty will be in contact with you soon to schedule a meeting concerning the action implementation phase. In the action implementation phase, you are expected to form a plan outlining those actions that you consider as appropriate to undertake in response to the review.

I look forward to meeting with you in the near future concerning the action implementation phase.
