New York City has introduced a congestion fee of $9 or more for
vehicles entering local streets and avenues at or below 60th Street
during peak hours. This new regulation affects cars, trucks, taxis, and
rideshares, with fees varying according to vehicle size, the day of the
week, and the time of day. While UC offers competitive contracts with
Hertz, National, Enterprise, Dollar, and Thrifty, please note that taxes
and fees, including this congestion fee, are not eligible for
reductions or waivers. We encourage travelers to <b>review all costs</b> when renting vehicles.
