Hello All,

Below are the project activities that we have planned for the next few weeks as the project comes to an end:

  1.  Final Roof Coating scheduled to commence 11/27
  2.  JCI will be onsite week of 11/27 to program new exhaust system.

***fume hoods will not be operational between the hours of 6a-9a

  1.  Exhaust Fan TAB (Testing and Balance) and fume hood re-certification expected to take place as early as end of week of 11/27 and 12/11 (work will be coordinated with occupants)
  2.  Basement security gate details are going through final approval for installation December'23
  3.  Demobilization tentatively scheduled for week of 12/18

Please note that fume hoods will be non-operational for a few hours commencing at 6a Monday, 11/27. Please reach out to me if you have any questions.

Below are the project activities that we have planned for the next few weeks as the project comes to an end:

  1.  Cold room scope of work has been completed
  2.  Inspection for relocated roof building vacuum line scope or work will take place no later than end of this week
  3.  Parapet wall coping install to be completed by end of this week.
  4.  Electrical sub is completing the remaining scope of work this week in prep for the new control wires (expected to be onsite until Friday 11/17)
  5.  Painting of exposed conduit running vertically alongside of building scheduled to take place week of 11/20
  6.  JCI will be onsite the week of 11/20 and 11/27 to complete new control scope of work
  7.  Exhaust Fan TAB (Testing and Balance) and fume hood re-certification expected to take place week of 12/4 and 12/11 (work will be coordinated with occupants)
  8.  Basement security gate details are going through final approval for installation December'23
  9.  Final roof coating and demobilization tentatively scheduled for week of 12/18

Attached is a list of fume hoods that will undergo ASHRAE 110 testing for certification. Please take a look at the list and let me know if there is certain times/dates that we will not be able to access the fume hood so that we may take that into account when coordinating the work.

Subject: 950599 Spieth Hall Roof Project - Crane Scheduled for 9/6 & Duct Welding Week of 9/11

Hello All,

A crane has been scheduled for 9/6/23 to lift the HVAC exhaust fan duct material to the roof (please see attached). The crane will be on site for no more than 6 hours commencing at 7a.

During the week of 9/11/23, the GC will be welding the existing exhaust fans ducts to the new exhaust manifold system on the roof which may cause a slight burn odor that may come from the fume hoods. Please be assured that all safety measures are in place to complete this work including procedures to reduce amount of odor that enters the building.
