The following courses were reviewed by CNAS Executive Committee at their meeting of 10/20/20 and were approved or returned as indicated below. With these actions, the Executive Committee queue is empty until additional courses are forwarded in CRS.

BIOL 119 Returned to Preparer
The CNAS Executive Committee reviewed the BIOL 119 proposal on 10/20/20.  While the Committee is supportive of the plan, the proposal is being returned for 2 main edits.   1) The syllabus should be updated to match the prerequisite strings shown in the catalog description e.g. with current course numbering.  2) The Committee notes with concern that the syllabus does not mention how assessment and proctoring will be conducted in the online setting, and requests that these items be added. Lastly, the Committee asks for spell-check of instructor names listed on the syllabus. Once your edits are made, please return the proposal to the Executive Committee queue for review at our next session in November 2020. If the BIOL 119 instructor has any questions about these items, let me know and I'll have one of our Committee reps talk to the instructor to clarify.
