[CITL] Call for nominations: UC Women Rock IT article

Dear Colleagues,



The UC Women in Technology (WIT) committee has asked for each campus to
submit a “UC Women Rock IT” story, *highlighting the outstanding technology
contributions of either one woman or one team of women*. UC WIT plans to
feature each campus’ story in an upcoming Women’s History Month article
that will be shared UC-wide.



We know that at UC Riverside the contributions of women in technology are
considerable, and not limited to staff within ITS. As a result, *our local
UCR WIT chapter has decided to solicit nominations from our entire
organization and IT campus partners* to help ensure we’re capturing
important stories about the women in tech on our campus.



UCR WIT will review all nominations and select *one* woman’s/team’s story
to send forward to UC WIT for the UC-wide article. However, our local
chapter plans to use *all* submissions to highlight UCR women in tech via
campus channels during the month of March.

pm on Friday, February 16*. If you have any questions or concerns about the
form, please contact Teri Eckman.
