This is a reminder that nominations for the "UC Women Rock IT" are due today. The submission form will close today at 6pm.

We know there is a lot of outstanding work being done at UCR, and many people deserving of recognition. The UCR WIT committee kindly requests you take time to nominate a woman or team of women who have contributed to IT on our campus!

Subject: Call for Nominations Across UC - WIT

Dear CITL Members,

The UC Women in Technology (WIT) committee has asked for each campus to submit a "UC Women Rock IT" story, highlighting the outstanding technology contributions of either one woman or one team of women. UC WIT plans to feature each campus' story in an upcoming Women's History Month article that will be shared UC-wide.

We know that at UC Riverside the contributions of women in technology are considerable, and not limited to staff within ITS. As a result, our local UCR WIT chapter has decided to solicit nominations from our entire organization and IT campus partners to help ensure we're capturing important stories about the women in tech on our campus.

UCR WIT will review all nominations and select one woman's/team's story to send forward to UC WIT for the UC-wide article. However, our local chapter plans to use all submissions to highlight UCR women in tech via campus channels during the month of March.
