Subject: Notice of Upcoming Maintenance for Banner
Dear Banner Users,
Please be advised that there is a Banner maintenance event scheduled to begin at 6:00 AM on Saturday, August 13th and end by 11:59 PM on Sunday, August 14th. Important patches and upgrades will be applied to the production environment which will cause Banner and Banner dependent services to be unavailable during this window.
Components impacted by this maintenance include: Advisor Student Profile, Banner Admin, Banner AppNavigator, Banner Document Management, Banner Registration, Banner Self Service, Banner Student Profile, Canvas, Cognos, Course Request System (CRS), DegreeWorks, GradSIS, GradESS, iGrade, MyAccount, Photo Roster, R'Grad, Statement of Legal Residence (SLR), Student Payments (Cashnet), and UCR BanApps.
This maintenance will affect MyAccount users' ability to email themselves passcodes and users will not be able to receive temporary passwords for reset during this maintenance period. We apologize for the inconvenience that this may cause.
Specific information and updates regarding the Banner maintenance will be posted on TechAlerts<http://techalerts.ucr.edu/>. If you experience any disruption in services beyond the maintenance window, have any concerns, or would like more information please contact ITS directly at (951) 827-IT4U (4848) or by submitting a ticket on ServiceLink<https://ucrsupport.service-now.com/ucr_portal/?id=ucr_home>.
