Hi All,



We are pleased to announce that the vhost Service Migration Project was completed successfully on Monday, August 30. We would like to extend our deepest thanks to the Web Advisory Group Members, Site Factory Managers, and Site Owners who engaged with us throughout the entire project lifecycle - continuing to test, remediate, and reach out for website support as needed. Through these efforts we were able to deprecate hundreds of websites that were no longer in use and posed security risks to the campus web presence. The majority of vhost websites were transitioned to the new AWS environment seamlessly. To view an updated list of vhost sites, please visit https://vhostsites.ucr.edu (Campus IP required).



As with any impactful change, there are a few websites that encountered errors. Those sites are currently being worked on and we will continue to engage the departmental groups to ensure they are remediated to reduce the impact to business functions. Any Site Owners or SFMs encountering any issues should submit an incident via ServiceLink<https://ucrsupport.service-now.com/ucr_portal/?id=sc_cat_item&sys_id=d10c39ee0f348300138942bce1050e8b> (Category: Software & Applications, Subcategory: Campus Websites) so that our teams can best track and assist in troubleshooting.
