[CITL] CAS/Shibboleth Maintenance - POSTPONED

During testing an issue was identified and therefore the change is postponed until the issue can be resolved with the vendor.


A new communication will be sent once the new maintenance event date and time is determined.

Subject: CAS/Shibboleth Maintenance


Dear CITL Members,



Please be advised of upcoming maintenance to CAS/Shibboleth, taking place from 10pm to 11:59pm on Friday, July 16, 2021.



During the maintenance window campus users should expect to experience brief interruption of the service.



After the maintenance, while authentication through CAS/Shibboleth, users who have pending actions on their account related to Security Questions and Answers, Emergency Notification, or Multi-Factor Authentication will be prompted and taken to MyAccount.



This planned maintenance is required to ensure all users complete the setup of their Security Questions and Answers.



The maintenance event date and time were selected to ensure minimal potential impact to campus operations and events.
