Dear CITL Colleagues,

The annual reset of the Emergency Notification System will occur next Tuesday 9/15. This is the first reset since the launch of this new system/process back in December 2019. The reset date is always the 15th of September, regardless of day of the week. On 9/15, all users will be prompted by CAS to re-confirm their phone numbers for ENS.

The Office of Emergency Management (OEM) has been informed as well as the Emergency Management Policy Group (EMPG). University Communications has included information about this in the issue of Inside UCR that went out this week. Information is also being highlighted on the R'Space Portal.

The effect on users is as follows:
Upon first login any time after 7am, Tuesday September 15th, when a user arrives at CAS, they will be prompted to confirm their phone number for ENS within MyAccount. Users who have previously chosen to opt-out will have the opportunity to opt out again if they choose.
