If you have an opportunity to take a break join us Thursday (3/10) at the HUB plaza to listen to music for the soul. We will have a couple of giveaways for UCR dining gift cards and some testing supplies while supplies last.

Every Friday night Radio Aztlan brings the region within a forty-mile radius of the University of California campus, where KUCR-FM/88.3 is located, the sounds and grooves of musica Chicana.  Sponsored by Chicano Student Programs at UC Riverside for the past 40 years, Radio Aztlan has built a loyal audience of thousands of appreciative listeners who have come to rely on it as their weekly alternative Chicano Latino public radio in the Inland Empire and beyond.

Scholarships
The department of Entomology raised funds in 2020 in response to the George Floyd tragedy to provide scholarships to marginalized students who are not able to participate in research due to financial obligations. The student does not have to have a background in Entomology or science to apply. The point of the scholarship is to get students of marginalized backgrounds interested in Entomology or science in general so we can diversify the field of science.

The Tomás Rivera Teachers Association Scholarship keeps Tomás Rivera's legacy alive by awarding scholarships to future Inland Empire educators committed to the Chicano/Latino community.



A collaboration between Chicano Student Programs and the UCR School of Education, $500 scholarships are awarded to full-time UCR undergraduates in their senior year who have received conditional admittance into the GSOE teaching credential program OR current GSOE teaching credential students who demonstrate a commitment to service to the Chicano/Latino communities and their home community.
