* Looking for a student to be featured on a podcast. Please contact Nina at the info below
I'm the Behavioral Scientist at the UCR Family Medicine Residency Program. Several of our residents practice medicine on campus at Student Health. Recently, I received a $5,000 grant to start a podcast to make improvements to our Community Medicine rotation. Dr. Cook, cc'd on this email, is the resident lead on this podcast project.
For our first podcast episode, we are hoping to explore diabetes in the Hispanic community. Might you be able to help us connect with a UCR student who is willing to be interviewed? We would like to talk to someone who has real life experience with diabetes. Maybe they've received a diagnosis or have a family member who has struggled with diabetes. We look forward to hearing their story and learning from them. Thanks.
Best,

* Healthy Campus Mental Health Subcommittee Student Survey
On behalf of UCR Healthy Campus Mental Health Subcommittee:
Dear UCR students/UCR staff and faculty:
The UCR Healthy Campus Mental Health Subcommittee is inviting you to participate in a campus-wide Mental Health Climate Survey. The questions in this survey seek to better understand UCR students mental health knowledge and background, their knowledge of campus and community mental health services, and their ability to access mental health support. The information you provide in this survey will help UCR explore opportunities to do the following: create a more supportive mental health climate, expand and improve its mental health services and resources, and more effectively share information about those resources with students, staff, and faculty.
This survey will take approximately 5 to 10 minutes to complete. Your participation is voluntary and your answers will remain anonymous.
