A community celebration of Muxeres at UCR and beyond. Workshops are free and open to the public.
February 19-25th

Semana de la Mujer is sacred, a community, a celebration, and an act of liberation. We celebrate and honor the contributions of Chicana/Latina femmes here in the Inland Empire, our personal life, and beyond. We come together to create a Semana that is rooted in radical love, empowerment, and vulnerability. We encourage folks to come into these spaces exactly as they are with your testimonio, corazón y espiritu.

Theme:
"Tejiendo energía divina: esa magia hecha a mano por las mujeres en mi vida, un amor tan profundo que cada fibra, cada color terminan formando otra parte divina y protegen cada parte de mi vida."

The 27th Annual Mujer Conference is a full-day in-person conference featuring workshops, keynote speakers, and community vendors focused on honoring our magic! Registration is required, lunch and refreshments will be provided. Confirmed participants must complete a Daily Wellness check and wear a mask during the conference. Join us for a panel of Abuelitas, Mothers, and Chosen Mothers of muxeres at UCR. Panelists will share their journey and the ways they weave their divine energy into each fiber of their lives. Co-sponsored by Native American Student Programs. This program will be in Spanish with English translation.

Healing Circle w/ Corazón Counseling

We will come together to share our stories and learn of resources and tools for your healing journey. The workshop will be facilitated by Emilia Ortega-Jara, LCSW, Founder & Clinical Director of Corazón Counseling. Masks and Daily Wellness Checks are required.
