Department:
Chicano Student Programs (CSP) is a central location of resources for faculty, staff, students and community members seeking ways to better the Chicano/Latino community. The office provides leadership and organizational development through various clubs and activities along with a bridge of communication among students, faculty and staff. Annual events offered by the program promote enrichment, awareness, and pride in Chicano/Latino culture.

Job Summary:
Marketing & Graphic Design Director
Chicano Student Programs is seeking a creative and skilled Graphic Design Intern who is dedicated to supporting the mission of Chicano Student Programs and the Division of Student Affairs. The Marketing Intern is an integral part of the Chicano Student Programs team and works with the staff to coordinate, develop, and execute various graphic materials including print and digital promotions, on-site digital signage, video, and web and social media content. The job involves working both independently and with CSP team members to develop social media content for our current active platforms including Instagram & Facebook. The intern should have a passion for the potential of graphic design to advance social justice.

Transfer Student Program Coordinator
The Transfer Student Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and administering transfer specific programs and support. They will assist in planning, overseeing, implementing, and evaluating the programs. The Transfer Student Program Coordinator will work together with professional staff and other Student Program Coordinators as a team to implement programs.

School Visit Outreach Program
Each quarter Chicano Student Programs hosts 6-8 school visits with schools across the state ranging from K-14 including Parent organizations. School visits include student panels, presentations and campus tours focused on UC Riverside admissions and campus life. We are looking for an outreach coordinator to assist with organizing and executing the visits.

The Miracles and Dreams Scholarship Program

The Miracles & Dreams Foundation (MADF) Scholarship was established to encourage and support young adults who are pursuing their educational and/or career goals with strength and resiliency in the face of adversity, who are determined to fulfill their dreams no matter their circumstances. The applicant shall be a graduating high school senior accepted into a higher education institution, current or graduating college/university student, or current or graduating technical/trade/apprentice student within the MADF service area. Applicant's graduation and/or active acceptance/enrollment must be verified before disbursement of funds.

The inaugural class of five recipients will each be awarded a $1,000 scholarship along with various educational support resources to aid in their academic or trade program.
