Dear colleagues,

This year's Rabenstein lecture will be delivered by Distinguished Prof.
Carlito Lebrilla from UC Davis. He will visit us and give two seminars
on Wed., April 17 (Rabenstein Lecture, Bourns Hall A125) and Thursday
Apr. 18  (Kohler Room in Chemical Sciences building). Here is the link
for the signup sheet:

The Lebrilla group focuses on the development of analytical tools based
on advanced separation and mass spectrometry in two areas—nutrition and
diseases. They are developing mass spectrometry based tools for the
discovery of markers for cancer including ovarian, breast, and prostate.
They are pioneering the glycomic approach for the early diagnosis of
cancer. In nutrition they are examining human milk as the model for the
perfect food and determining bioactive components in milk.

More details about Calito's research can be found at:

Thanks and best,

Yinsheng
