violence and community violence that disproportionately impact Black and
Brown communities.


We are particularly interested in research that:

   - Uses community-engaged research frameworks
   - Applies a racial and health equity lens
   - Advances violence prevention policy and practice


Proposals may include standalone studies or discrete components of broader
research efforts, including data analysis, community engagement, or
dissemination activities.


Key Details

   - Funding Available: Approximately $700,000 across up to 25 awards
   - Award Amounts: Up to $50,000
   - Project Timeline: Up to 1 year
   - Eligibility: Applicants must be enrolled in a doctoral program or hold
   a doctoral degree
   - Application Deadline: April 13, 2026 (11:59 PM ET)
