*Volunteer Proctors needed for WINTER 2026 FINAL EXAMS! We are in need of
volunteers particularly on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of final exams
week. If you have already signed up, thank you!!*
Please share widely with career staff in your areas.

Winter quarter 2026 is quickly winding down and students will soon be
taking their final exams. There are many students with disabilities who are
eligible and do receive exam accommodations for their courses. SDRC is has
a number of staff positions that are in process to be posted and filled. *The
number of students needing exam accommodations have outpaced the staffing
and physical space capacity of the Student Disability Resource Center’s
Testing facilities during final exams.* We also have to hold in-person
exams in satellite locations, at additional nearby buildings/rooms.

We are seeking the assistance of student services and academic affairs
staff to volunteer as proctors with the SDRC during final exams week. *We
are looking for career staff to fill 3-4 hour block(s) of time facilitating
exams with accommodations and ensuring academic integrity of the process.
Volunteers will receive an orientation/overview prior to commencement of
exams. *If you are interested and/or willing to help students with
disabilities have an opportunity to be successful on final exams, please
sign up below, letting us know your general availability. Once we have a
better sense of how many students are requesting to use their exam
accommodations, including days/times, we will contact you to confirm your
availability to fill proctoring time slots. Students are requested to
reserve their exam seats at least 14 days prior to the scheduled final
exams. We will contact proctors to confirm times the week before final
exams.
