[Chass-gsaos] GSMS ASE Application System

Good morning, GSMS sent this message to all the graduate students. I
informed the IT team that CHASS doesn't currently require all graduate
students to apply for TA assignments in their department. This process
could be a step they'll take in the future, but the college will need to
review this process. So, anticipate students may be confused and contact
your department. I've asked the GSMS Team to revise their notice for the
next term and direct students to their college for additional guidelines,
since not all colleges on campus currently use the GSMS application
system. It may be helpful to notify your graduate students ahead of time
that an application does not need to be submitted for fall (specially if
they've already received a contract) and that they'll be informed at a
later time if this process is required through GSMS. Thank you.
Best,
Perla
