Do you want to become more involved with CLA? Want to make a difference in the community? Are you a student looking for some networking opportunities? Help shape the future of CLA in the upcoming year and apply to become a Board Member!

Applications are now being accepted to become a UCR CLA Board Member.
Deadline extended: Friday January 29th 11:59 PM PT

There are currently Alumni, Undergraduate, and Graduate student positions open on the CLA Board of Directors.

Alumni applicants must be a current UCR Alumni Association Member. Undergraduate and Graduate student applicants must be currently enrolled at UCR and in good academic standing.

Attendance at the February 18, UCR CLA General Meeting via Zoom, is mandatory for Alumni applicants, student applicants are encouraged to attend.

Chicano Educational & Cultural Fund, Inc. Cardenas Scholarship - application attached

The Chicano Educational & Cultural Fund, Inc. (CECF) has established a scholarship program in partnership with Cardenas Supermarket to recognize the academic and community achievements of students at the University of California, Riverside. Each award will be in the amount of $500 awarded to undergraduate and graduate students on the basis of academic excellence, financial need, and demonstrated service to the Chicano/Latino campus community.
