Legal Services:

The University of California Immigrant Legal Services Center serves the immigration-related legal needs of undocumented, immigrant students and students in mixed status families in the University of California system. They provide, free of charge, the legal assistance to you and your immediate family members.

ASUCR works with volunteer attorneys to provide free legal services to registered undergraduate students at UC Riverside. Our attorneys do not provide formal legal representation but rather education and self-help services to assist and help students to solve problems.

Inland Counties Legal Services, Inc. (ICLS) was established in 1958. Inland Counties Legal Services, Inc. is a nonprofit organization providing legal services to low-income persons residing in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.

CSP Book Loan Program (Winter quarter)
If we have the textbook you need, you may borrow it from our lending library, https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LvshUqOKF6raqq9FiFvIfzGD1YBltYWXF1gh9s8mf4E/edit?ts=5db0a2a2#gid=0. If we don’t have it, and you are selected for the book loan, you will receive an award up to $150 for the cost to cover some of your textbook(s).
You may list up to 3 textbooks or the number of books equal to $150; if selected as a recipient CSP will purchase books from Amazon.com or Barnes and Noble and have them mailed to your address or an Amazon Locker near you. Additionally, all textbooks from the book scholarship should be returned to Chicano Student Program’s Lending Library at the end of the quarter/course. We have limited funding and will offer this service once per quarter.
Eligibility:
* Complete the Book Loan application
* Submit personal statement (included on application form)
* Demonstrate financial need/hardship
* Must be a current UCR student (priority to undocumented students, student parents, and formally incarcerated students)
**Riverside Mutual Aid

We are a group of UCR alumni/students, workers, neighbors and community members organizing a mutual aid fund, resource sharing and neighborhood support activities. We coordinate food & supply drop offs, prescription pickups, resource-sharing and other community support activities, with a prioritization of vulnerable populations.
**Riverside County Rental Assistance Program
Renters in the County of Riverside who meet the eligibility requirements may receive one-time rental assistance under the United Lift Rental Assistance Program. Review the FAQ at www.unitedlift.org<http://www.unitedlift.org> for a more detailed description of eligibility. This application will allow you to upload your eligibility documentation
