[Cdnc] CDNC Funding Update

Dear CDNC Users,

I had hoped to update you earlier this week. Thank you to those of you who have donated. As of Wednesday we had raised roughly $75,000. If you haven't contributed, there's still time. The donation page is here: https://www.givecampus.com/campaigns/61710/donations/new?amt=200.00

To give you some context, there are over 30,000 subscribers to this email list. If each person gave just $10.00, we would exceed our goal of $300,000. I hope you'll help.

Some of you asked if we accept checks and if UCR is a 501c.3. The answer to both question is "Yes". More information about giving to the CDNC through UCR can be found here: https://giving.ucr.edu/ways-to-give#give-by-mail

Finally, some of you have asked if the donations will be refunded if the goal of $300,000 is not met. No, all contributions will go toward helping us pay down as much of the roughly $300,000 as we can.

I'll follow up again next week with more information about the campaign.
