<div>Hi all,</div><div><br></div><div>On behalf of the Center for Conservation Biology grad student group and SEEDS (<span>Strategies
for Ecology, Education and Diversity and Sustainability), I would like
to invite graduate students to apply for the SEEDS-CCB Mentorship
Program leadership team. CCB and SEEDS are starting a new program this
year that will connect undergraduate students with graduate and faculty
mentors. Mentees will have the opportunity to rotate through different
labs and gain experience in various areas of ecology and conservation
biology. <br></span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>This
program is currently in its infancy, and we are now in the process of
constructing the leadership team, which will consist of two graduate
students and two undergraduate SEEDS students. This quarter, the
leadership team will be responsible for developing lists of potential
mentors and mentees, and preparing for the first quarter of rotations in
winter 2023. Beginning next quarter, the leadership team will be
responsible for facilitating rotations, organizing mentorship events,
and finding new mentees. The leadership team will meet about once a
month, so this would not be a huge time commitment. <br></span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>If you are interested in joining the leadership team, please fill out this <a href="https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf12p44h2Dx-gY5NlJi4AhwKHOHW0VF-aWpG99v3Xohrm9ljw/viewform?usp=sf_link" target="_blank">short form</a> by next Friday, September 30th. Depending on interest, the SEEDS and CCB officers will make decisions on who is the best fit. <br></span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Attached is a more detailed description of the mentorship program.<br></span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Thank you,</span></div><div><span>Elijah </span></div>
