by Monday, October 14 if your research is in the fields of Ecology,
Evolution, and/or Conservation Biology and have a desire to foster
undergraduate interest in your field. No previous experience is required
and grad students of all stages are encouraged to apply!

As a mentor, you will work one-on-one with an undergraduate in a structured
yet flexible format to teach them the basics of your field and research

also attached to this email). This is a great opportunity to connect
casually with enthusiastic students that could end up being your vital
research assistants, and mentorship is a highly sought-after addition to
your CV. The mentor workload is extremely low, and mentorship is a valuable
experience as a grad student.

Additionally, Friday, October 11th at 5 pm the CCB-SEEDS Mentorship program
will be hosting a Q&A panel for undergraduate students interested in
attending graduate school for careers in ecology, conservation, evolution,
and organismal biology. We are looking for speakers who would be interested
in giving a short 5-minute talk about their journey to graduate school
(e.g. how you decided to pursue grad school, what you did between your
undergrad and grad degrees, and your current experience as a grad student).
This will be a one time, ~1 hour time commitment. Our goal is to highlight
the variety of different paths students take to begin their graduate
