Hi all,

Please see below for information on a student research fund that may be of
interest to those in the Southwest Chapter.

“The Forrest Shreve Student Research Fund award is given to support
research in the hot deserts of North America: Sonoran, Mojave, Chihuahuan,
and Vizcaino. Projects considered are ecological and increase our
understanding of the patterns and processes of deserts and/or desert
organisms. Proposals are ranked based on the importance of the project
toward understanding desert ecology, feasibility, experimental design and
innovation.”

Applications can be submitted here: Awards – Ecological Society of America
