Hi All,

The Riverside County Habitat Conservation Agency has some volunteer
opportunities for anyone wanting to get some experience trapping small
mammals as well as a part-time technician position.

Please forward along the following opportunity to any interested parties
and ask them to email Harry Sandoval at hsandoval at wrcog.us for more details
.

Hi Loralee,

During your last field trip at the Motte Reserve some of your students
asked if we had any volunteer opportunities with the RCHCA. The SKR range
wide monitoring that we will be conducting over the summer and fall will
create plenty of opportunities for volunteers. Volunteers would have the
opportunity to do a variety of activities related to SKR monitoring
including: habitat assessments, vegetation classifications, trap grid
establishments, live trapping and field data collections. Monitoring
activities are scheduled to begin in July and go through October.
Monitoring sites are located throughout Western Riverside County and inland
San Diego County.

If you happen to know of some folks that may be interested I would
appreciate it if you could pass on my contact information. We also still
have one opening for a part time weekend Open Space Habitat Technician!

Thanks for your time,
Harry

Serrano peoples and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work on
these homelands.
