Hello, everyone,

I wanted to make sure that you are all aware the the 2024 NCER conference
will be happening in Albuquerque next spring. This will truly be a national
event with speakers and attendees from across the country, but this will be
the first southwestern NCER since 2009.

directly. If you would like to present a poster or oral presentation,
abstracts are due September 1st 🙂.  I hope to see many familiar and new
faces in Albuquerque next April!

Calling all ecosystem restoration professionals!

The National Conference on Ecosystem Restoration (NCER) will be held April
14-19, 2024 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We invite those working in large
scale or small scale ecosystem restoration to submit an abstract describing
your efforts, science, projects and results. This is a great opportunity to
share your work, your experience and research results concerning ecosystem
restoration.

Presentations will focus on restoration in a variety of geographic regions,
including: the Everglades, Louisiana Coastal Wetlands, California Bay
Delta, the Great Lakes, Chesapeake Bay, the Gulf and Atlantic Coasts,
Platte River Basin, the Upper Mississippi River System, the Pacific
Northwest, and the Desert Southwest, and a variety of ecosystems in between.

Why You Should Attend:

   - Share your expertise and hear successes and lessons learned from
   others working in ecosystem restoration at different scales
   - Meet others working on similar projects and build collaborative
   relationships
   - By joining your colleagues, and even your competitors, you'll gain
   insight from your peers to help keep the playing field even

Student Competition
NCER will feature a student competition sponsored by the Society for
Ecological Restoration. Winners will receive an Award Certificate and a
$100 prize during the closing plenary. NCER is also a great opportunity to
expand your connections around the country and start laying the groundwork
for future job opportunities.
