Working with Cal-Adapt Climate Data in R
October 1, 2021 • 10:00 - 11:30am • online • free

Cal-Adapt<https://cal-adapt.org/> is California's official go-to source for downscaled climate data. Most people interact with Cal-Adapt through the website, but Cal-Adapt also features an API which can be used to query and download data through programming languages. This hands-on workshop will teach you how to work with climate data using caladaptR<https://ucanr-igis.github.io/caladaptr/>, a R package developed by IGIS which streamlines the process of importing data via the Cal-Adapt API.

Requirements: No experience with climate data necessary. To complete the hands-on exercises, some basic R familiarity is expected. Details and registration<http://igis.ucanr.edu/Training/CaladaptROct21/>. This workshop will be repeated in late 2021 or early 2022.
