Attention all graduate students doing field work or interested in doing
field work at Boyd Deep Canyon <https://deepcanyon.ucnrs.org/> Reserve.

We are now accepting applications for the Mayhew Graduate Research Award for
Boyd Deep Canyon 2021
Research awards are available for graduate students conducting research at
Boyd Deep Canyon Desert Research Center. The competition is open to any
graduate student enrolled in any accredited college or university. However,
preference for awards will be to those enrolled at the University of
California, and California State University system. Information and
application forms are attached. Boyd Deep Canyon is a gateway reserve and
research projects that are centered at the reserve, but conducted off-site,
will be considered.



*Graduate students should submit their applications to Dr. Chris Tracy by
May 14, 2021, for review by the selection panel. The review criteria are
attached. Awards will be announced by May 31, 2021. We anticipate making
one or more awards of $500-$1500.*
