yet informal meeting to identify current challenges and opportunities for
ecological sustainable pathways in the Inland Empire region both as an important region and a more general model. The morning will
feature presentations and discussion by regional leaders in conservation
efforts. The afternoon will feature a series of roundtable discussions oriented to identifying ecological sustainability issues in the I.E. An
initial white paper report following the summit will synthesize perspectives on
next generation multi-species habitat conservation plans and develop a roadmap
for addressing needs in our region. This meeting is a precursor to a broader
symposium planned for the Fall. </p>
