In collaboration with EHS, we have invited Sierra Rescue to give a Wilderness First Aid Course including CPR/ AED and EpiPen Training this Thursday or Friday. It is a one day course for 9 hours, and the cost is $125. There are still spots open for both days, especially Friday at this point. You don't have to be a UCR affiliate to take the program, so please share.

Hello Everyone!

We are pleased to announce that we are hosting another round of Wilderness First Aid - CPR/AED - EpiPen Training by Sierra Rescue on June 23 and 24. If these dates do not work for you, do know that we frequently host this training and there will be future possibilities for you.

This training is especially beneficial to any groups conducting field research and provides detailed knowledge and practises of the types of injuries that often occur in the field with the limited availability of medical resources in such events.
The CPR-AED will provide participants with an official certification that will remain valid for two years.
The EpiPen training will fulfil the requirements for Lay Rescuer training to administer EpiPens for first aid purposes according to California Section 1797.197a and will remain valid for two years.

This training is one 8-hour course with two possible day options. It will take place at the EH&S Lyceum. The cost of the training is $125 per person. Meals will not be provided so participants will need to make arrangements for their own lunch.

Below are the registration links for the two days this training is available. Space is limited to 14 people per class so sign-up quickly! Because you completed the survey link that was sent out, you have been given two days priority with the registration links. These links will be open to the rest of campus starting June 17.
