Sponsors Scholarships for STEM Teachers
The AFCEA Educational Foundation will offer scholarships of $5,000 to
students actively pursuing an undergraduate or graduate education degree for
the purpose of teaching STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or
Mathematics) subjects at a U.S. middle or secondary school.
At least 35 scholarships at $5,000 each will be awarded annually. The
scholarships are made possible by a generous contribution from AFCEA
International.

In addition to the STEM Teacher Scholarship, each graduating recipient will
receive a $1,000 AFCEA Science Teaching Tools grant per year for 3 years, on
the condition they remain teaching a STEM subject. For more information on

In addition to the above scholarships, one STEM Teacher scholarship of
$2,500 will be awarded annually to honor the memory of MG Eugene C. Renzi,
USA (Ret.). This scholarship is made possible by a generous endowment from
ManTech International. The recipient will be selected from the STEM Teacher

REQUIREMENTS:
Eligibility: Degree-seeking candidates must be U.S. citizens.
(Please Note: Distance Learning or Online Programs will not qualify.)
Undergraduate students must be enrolled full time as a traditional student
at an accredited college or university in the United States and majoring in
secondary education for the purpose of teaching STEM subjects in a U.S.
middle or secondary school.
Undergraduate applications will be accepted from current sophomore, junior
and senior students - minimum second-year
students only.
Graduate candidates must be currently enrolled in at least two
(semester-equivalent) classes at an accredited U.S. college or university.
A minimum overall GPA of 3.0 is required.

Application deadline is June 10, 2010. Scholarships will be awarded in
