14 million children growing up in low-income communities are not afforded
the same educational opportunities as their peers in more affluent areas. In
fact, only 10% are expected to graduate from college. You can change this. 

 
Teach For America is the national movement to end educational inequity in
low-income communities. We recruit high-achieving recent college graduates
from ALL academic majors to take on a leadership role as a full-time,
salaried teacher in one of 35 regions across the country. Our alumni are
working in fields across the board including Law, Business, Medicine, and
Policy to continue advocating for and empowering our low-income communities.
