The NBC Learn is the education component of the NBC News, which provides
global resources of NBC News and historic film and video archives available
to teachers.  The implementation of the Science of the Olympic Winter Games
was created through a partnership with the National Science Foundation
(NSF).

 

As you plan your science/mathematics lessons, you may wish to add the NBC
Learn - Science of the Olympic Winter Games
(http://www.nbclearn.com/olympics) to your list of lesson planning
resources.  This site contains a series of videos and other educational
materials to help teachers draw relevancy between subjects like physics,
biology, chemistry, and engineering AND the Winter Olympics.
