EDGE Algebra Academy Apprenticeship

4 Positions Available

 

The EDGE (Education Dedicated to Graduating Everyone) Academy is a program
developed from a partnership between San Gorgonio High School, in San
Bernardino, and the UCR ALPHA Center. The purpose of the program is to
provide students with enhanced tutoring experiences in mathematics,
particularly in Algebra I and Geometry.  The role of the apprentice is to
assist the mathematics teachers in instruction as well as a resource for
students to learn what it is like to be a college student.

 

DATES:                                   July 6 to July 31, 2009 (4 weeks)

TIMES:                                    8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  - Monday
through Friday

LOCATION:                           San Gorgonio High School in San
Bernardino (2299 East Pacific St., San Bernardino)

SALARY:                                 $2,160
