ATTENTION: ALL PRE-SERVICE TEACHERS

The Understanding the Culture of Poverty Conference is a two-day
workshop that will offer participants an opportunity to consider the
realities of what it means to "live in poverty." Through the research
of Dr. Ruby Payne, Ph.D., this compelling and interactive workshop
provides a foundation to understand the variables that sometimes
interfere with achievement and success for the community of poverty.
Participants will leave with strategies for effectively engaging with
the community of poverty.
