I am unable to attend, but wanted to re-extend the standing invite from
LACASIS (Los Angeles Chapter of the American Society for Information
Science and Technology) to collaborate on an event at some point.  Our
last event at CSUN on social tagging was quite successful

Subject: CARL-IT Meeting at CARL Conference in Irvine

CARL-IT South Members,

CARL-IT South will meet during the CARL Conference in Irvine (See the
conference schedule at
http://carl-acrl.org/Archives/ConferencesArchive/Conference08/during/sch
edule.html). The main item on the agenda will be to discuss the future
of our Interest Group. I will be resigning as Chair and am looking for
new leadership for the South and/or to merge with the North group.
Please plan to attend. You do not have to be registered for the
Conference to attend this Interest Group Meeting. 

 

Time: Friday, April 4th at 5:30pm 

Place: SoupPlantation (within walking distance of the Hyatt Regency - on
the South East Corner of Jamboree & Main St.)

Cost: About $10.00 per person, buffet style dining.

 

Members of CARL-IT North are encouraged to join us.

 

If you plan to attend, please let me know by April 3rd so I can ask for
a big enough table.
