Hi Dr. Litt,

I was Carol Lovatt’s student and graduated in 2017. Current I’m working at
the USDA-ARS Appalachian Fruit Research Station (AFRS), and wondering if
you could kindly help circulate the ads for two research positions that are
open?

https://www.usajobs.gov/GetJob/ViewDetails/585014600 (Soil Scientist,
closes 12/23/2020)

https://www.usajobs.gov/GetJob/ViewDetails/585200300 (Plant Pathologist,
closes 12/23/2020)

We wish to recruit talented candidates in these two respective areas. And I
want to add that AFRS is great place for doing applied research (with tree
fruits) while exploring the fundamental science! Our station is located in
West Virginia near Maryland and Virginia so it’s very convenient to get to
the places in the DC metro area as well. Overall, I think it’s a great
place to work and live.

Thank you very much!

Lisa
