Hi All,



The BPS Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee is looking for a staff representative for the incoming 2021-2022 school year. We are excited to continue the work that was started last year.

Here are some details about the service commitment, but please feel free to reach out with other questions you may have. The time commitment is minimal (1hr/monthly meeting, 2-3 hrs/month outside of meetings). The outside of meeting activities consisted of contributing to email announcements/reports, the newsletter, or hosting a community-drop-in hour.

This year on our agenda, we have to create a website presence on the departmental website, finish drafting a DEI report to the department, begin more structured community building events, and continue the efforts toward developing a departmental strategic plan that has immediate and long-range goals.
