Dear Botany Faculty,

Our fourth and final candidate for the community ecologist position will be here next Tuesday and part of Wednesday. Dr. Benedicte Bachelot, who is currently an assistant professor at Oklahoma State University is another excellent candidate with diverse interests in community ecology, including some microbiome analysis and DNA sequencing as well as a strong quantitative background. Please sign up for a time on the schedule, there are a few slots left:

Let’s finish strong with meetings from across the department and attendance at the seminar. We have had some great candidates and very soon we will be making the choice as to who will join our department and help keep our faculty strong!

Thanks in advance and cheers everyone,
Lou.
