I’m reaching out to ask if you could share the Inspire Science Symposium flyer with your first- and second-year CNAS undergraduate students (not limited to Biochemistry).

The Inspire Science Symposium is hosted by BcMBGSA and is designed to:

Introduce first- and second-year undergraduates to research and encouraging science as a career path.

Help students understand how to join a research lab, with guidance and lab matching during the April follow-up workshop

Connect students with graduate students, faculty, and advisors across departments for mentorship and guidance.

The event includes short graduate student talks, posters, and roundtable Q&A sessions focused on finding research opportunities. A follow-up workshop in April will help selected students connect with labs across CNAS.

If you have any way to reach your undergraduates (Canvas, email, announcements, slides), we’d really appreciate you sharing the flyer. CNAS undergraduate advisors also are helping with this, but I thought TAs may help us as well.
