<p class="MsoNormal">BPHY is allocated 1 award, and the program can nominate one person for the campus-wide competitive awards and one for the DD-HIS (pre-professoriate) award. Please see attached for information on eligibility for each of these.

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="font-size:14.0pt">The new application process is as follows:</span></b><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">1. The student fills out and submits the application, including contact information for letter writers.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">2. When the application is received, an email will be sent to the letter writers asking them to fill out a short form and submit their letter. PLEASE NOTE this means the letter writer will not be notified until AFTER the application is
submitted. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="color:#7030A0">FACULTY AND STUDENTS PLEASE NOTE: Because of the short time-line, it is critical for students to inform their letter writers that their letter will have to be submitted
<u>as soon as the email is received</u> (in other words, prepare it in advance). </span>
