Subject: NNSA Minority Serving Institution Internship Program – Accepting Applications for 2022!

The National Nuclear Security Administration Minority Serving Institution Internship Program (NNSA-MSIPP) offers full-time summer internships, with some opportunities to continue part-time during the academic year. Students will participate in scientific research, technical, policy, or other government relations projects that supports the NNSA mission.

Undergraduate and graduate students studying part-time or full-time at accredited Minority Serving Institutions<https://www2.ed.gov/about/offices/list/ope/idues/2021eligibilitymatrix.xlsx> receive financial support including stipends starting at $750 per week plus allowances to offset the cost of commuting, housing and travel to and from the hosting site. Appointments may be hosted virtually.

Eligibility:

  *   Be a U.S. citizen.
  *   Have and maintain a minimum undergraduate or graduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  *   Be enrolled as a part-time or full-time undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited Minority Serving Institution.
