Attention All Continuing Students,

I have received a few questions regarding the ARPE/AME process this year so
I wanted to follow up with you all. Each year the ARPE now AME needs to be
completed before the end of the spring quarter. However, the program often
will give more time for completion. With the increase of Graduate
Division's focus to deadlines and procedure, the deadline for
completion has been set to September 3rd. That is sending the petition in
R'Grad signing of the petition, and meeting with your committee, so that
all other processing steps may take place and it will be in the Graduate
Division queue on time.

This process now must be completed via R'Grad and no longer using
the Docusign function. Please communicate and connect with your PI and
committee to discuss completing this process as timely as possible. If your
committee approves, you can complete your AME meeting virtually, or submit
the petition ahead of time prior to your meeting. That is up to
the discretion of your PI and how they want you to proceed. Again all steps
need to be completed including signing by September 3rd. Please refer to my
previous emails in addition to the message from the Graduate Division.
