"Developing multi-modal platforms for next-generation precision medicine"


"Diseases such as cancer are diverse and interact with their bodily environments. For next-generation precision medicine, a holistic approach that combines engineering tools, patient-derived models, and analytical methods is needed to expose new therapeutic opportunities. The talk will cover our effort across the spectrum from bench to bedside, including miniature organoid technology to guide clinical precision- and immuno-oncology, algorithms to identify cancer microbiome, neuromodulation of the gut-brain axis to treat cancer cachexia, and reprogramming organogenesis to create chimeric humanized models."
